It is the separation of the different pigments which compose a shade. Separation is due to incompatibility among the different resins in paint, incompatibility among pigments or high difference among pigments due to different specific weight. Before starting an industrial application of such paints, carry on tests to be sure that the application on panels doesn’t show such defects
